What we offer

At Mischief Motorsports, we provide a range of quality vehicle services, from minor to major, to ensure your car runs smoothly.

Minor Car Service

Minor car services are typically carried out every 10,000 km or once a year, whichever comes first. This service includes basic checks and maintenance tasks which are important for maintaining the health of your vehicle and preventing more serious problems down the line.

Major Car Service

Major car services are more comprehensive than minor services and are typically carried out every 30,000 km or every two years. These services include all the tasks of a minor service, as well as additional checks and maintenance tasks such as replacing spark plugs, air filters, and fuel filters. Major car services are important for ensuring that your vehicle is running at its best and can help prevent major breakdowns.

Oil change

Oil changes should happen every 10000km so once on a proper service schedule you should have a cycle of “cheaper” minor/lube service and the next one 10000km later should be your more comprehensive maintenance service . A brand new car that has no wear on the engine can maybe stretch service intervals a bit further due to the fact that there is less blow by and carbon build up in the engine. However we believe the agents distances between services to not be driven by engine health and longevity, but rather profits due to Motorplan and it can be gotten away with in a new engine.

Older cars need oil changes much more frequently.

This can be seen by the black color of the oil after just a couple of km after the service rather than the golden color on near engines.

At mischief we believe in preventative maintenance and therefore suggest a maximum distance of 10000km on oil in engines above 80000km.

This is further backed up by the big rise in ‘sump services’ due to blocked pick ups and oil pressure problems in the years following Motorolas claiming cars can now do 15000-25000km between services by certain manufacturers, the worn engines at low mileage, carbon build up and sludge in the sump proves these claimed mileages to simply be untrue.

Preventative maintenance still proves to be the most cost effective solution to trouble free and affordable motoring.

Tyre Rotate & Balance

It is good practice to Rotate & Balance your tyres as it promotes even wear, extends their lifespan and improves safety, handling and comfort.

Aircon Servicing & Re-Gas

A yearly checkup is recommended. Regular servicing of your car’s air conditioner ensures comfort, improves fuel efficiency and prevents costly future repairs.

Better air quality as filter replacement prevents dust, pollen, mold and other allergies from circulating in the abin.
