Dyno tuning is the process of testing and adjusting a vehicle’s engine on a dynamometer “dyno” , to optimize the performance in a controlled environment. This involves our technician using the dyno to measure the engine’s power and torque, then making precise adjustments to ECU parameters like fuel, ignition timing and boost pressure to achieve maximum power and efficiency.

Mischief has recently acquired and installed a new 4-wheel drive dyno which allows us to tune 2-wheel and 4-wheel drive vehicles.
Besides Dyno Tuning, we are able to install and tune various aftermarket ECU’s, as well as Unichip modules to manipulate standard ECU’s in order to achieve maximum power or economy tuning. We are able to further enhance performance and sound by EGR/CAT deletes coupled to performance exhaust installations.
Turbocharged diesel engines are ideal for dyno tuning and produce significant power and torque gains which transform the vehicle’s performance. Our expert tuners are adept at installing plug & play power plugs, software upgrades, intercooler upgrades, diesel optimisation and DPF deletes.
